I have been employed by Cass City Schools for the last 18.5 years as a special educator. The first 17 years I serviced the needs of students in the High School in a pull out special education classroom. I instructed them in the areas of Science, Math, and History. I have also helped develop plans that would assist my special needs students in the transition from high school to adult life.
The past 1.5 years I have been servicing eighth grade special education students in the regular education environment. I team-teach with Mrs. Graff in Language Arts and Math, Mr. Walker in Social Studies, and Mr. Zdrojewski in Science.
I am a 1980 graduate of Cass City High School. I have obtained my Bachelor's degree, as well as, my Master's degree in Special Education from Central Michigan University. Last year I completed a certification program in technology from Michigan State University. I am currently enrolled at Oakland University receiving training for certification in Reading Recovery.
